The fresh batch of officers and members of the Multi-Media Press Society of the Philippines, Inc. (MMPRESS) held their official oath-taking ceremony before Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Wednesday, April 23, 2026, at the Pasig City Hall.

Formed by veteran and contemporary entertainment writers and columnists both in print and online, the organization is formerly known as the Entertainment Press Society of the Philippines, Inc. (ENPRESS). Rebranding was necessary to keep up with the evolving landscape in entertainment reporting and writing.

MMPRESS is evolving. While they continue to honor outstanding work in film and television, they’re also going digital — building a strong, engaged presence across social media. Their mission extends to advocacy work in education, health, sports, and the environment.

At the core of the group, the members want entertainment writers to reconnect with their craft. MMPRESS believes writers should take pride in their role, uphold strong principles, and use their voice to elevate the industry. They’re here to spark meaningful conversations, address key issues, and take a stand when it counts.
