The Philippines’ ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual recently announced his return to theater in the role of Ibarra in a stage adaptation of the classic novel “Noli Me Tangere” by Jose Rizal. This marks Piolo’s first theater performance in over a decade, and fans of both the actor and the novel are eagerly anticipating his portrayal of the iconic character.

In “Noli Me Tangere,” Ibarra is a young Filipino who returns to the Philippines from Europe and becomes embroiled in the social and political issues of his country.
