Purple Hearts CEO Kryzl Jorge thrilled over singing with Ogie Alcasid and meeting BINI at the ‘Ogieoke 2: Reimagined’ concert
Kryzl Jorge, the little CEO of Purple Hearts, is known for her product endorsement but she recently revealed a hidden talent: singing. Last November 30, she stepped on the stage at the Newport Performing Arts Theater for “Ogieoke 2: Reimagined,” a concert celebrating the music of Filipino icon Ogie Alcasid.
A Night of Firsts
It was a night of milestones for Kryzl. Not only was it her first time singing a Filipino song for a large crowd, but she also had the opportunity to perform a duet with Ogie Alcasid himself.
“It was my first time singing a Filipino song in front of a huge audience and I enjoyed singing with Tito Ogie,” Kryzl shared.
Learning from a Legend
Kryzl’s performance was the culmination of mentorship sessions with Ogie. She described the experience with admiration.
“Well, It has been amazing. Tito Ogie is talented not just as a mentor, but an icon of OPM. At first, I was nervous, but he taught me how to be attached to the audience. I’m blessed and grateful to call him my mentor,” she shared.
Following their duet of “Pangako,” Ogie expressed his pride in Kryzl’s performance and his gratitude for the new generation of artists, including Kryzl, BINI, JM dela Cerna, and Marielle Montillano, who are carrying the torch of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
“These are the songs that I used to sing noong bata kami and I wanted to have a little fun with it. So ngayon, ito yung mga kantang gusto kong ire-introduce sa mga kabataan.”
Conquering a New Stage
Singing in Filipino presented a unique challenge for Kryzl.
“I mostly know English but I had to practice the song for many days. I got so excited about knowing the song a lot.” She admitted to listening to the song repeatedly to master it.
But language wasn’t the only hurdle. Kryzl also had to overcome her nerves.
“Focusing on the lyrics. I needed the confidence. It was fun. Tito Ogie taught me to sing with the heart and be connected to the audience,” she said.

Meeting her Idols
The night held another thrill for Kryzl: meeting the popular girl group BINI backstage. She even got to chat with her favorite member, BINI Mikha.
“She said hi and that she liked the butterflies on my gown,” Kryzl happily shared.
What’s Next for Kryzl?
Fans can expect more exciting things from Kryzl this December. She’ll be hosting her own online show, “Love, Kryzl World.”

“We’re going to do lots of fun things. Lots of unboxing. Trending things. We’re going to show a lot of places. I hope you could stay tuned for that,” she revealed. Asked what she’s looking forward to the most, Kryzl said, “I’m excited to unbox Crybaby dolls from Popmart.”
