As P-Pop continues to rise, getting the hearts of audiences both locally and internationally hooked, Filipino artists are finally receiving the recognition they deserve. This cultural movement is highlighted by success stories like that of P-Pop group BILIB and soloist Zéla, both signed under AQ Prime Music. Their latest music video, “Gimme The Music,” has made a significant impact, racking up over 1 million views on YouTube shortly after its release.

The members of BILIB — Yuki, Zio, Jmac, RC, Clyde, Carlo, and Rafael — expressed their excitement and gratitude for the overwhelming response from P-Pop fans. “We are truly thankful for the support we’ve received. The song’s catchy beat and danceable quality, paired with captivating visuals that feature the talented Mon Confiado, have resonated with viewers,” the group shared.
Directed by RS Francisco, the music video stands out for its imaginative concept and vibrant production. Composers Hazel Faith D. Santos, Renzo Zio Dela Paz, Rafael Mumar, and Krizel Jane Lockhart, along with sound producer Caleb Santos and executive producers Aldwin Alegre and Mary Melanie Quiño, came together to create a visual feast that showcases the group’s performance versatility. The transformation of a mundane workplace into a lively party scene not only highlights their skills but also engages viewers on multiple levels.

In his role as the boss, Confiado symbolizes the music industry’s pursuit of innovation, showcasing how even the most routine days can be uplifted through creative expression. Yuki, the group leader, reflected on the journey, saying, “We felt a mix of nerves and excitement leading up to this moment. Watching the music video now, I’m almost speechless. The success we see—over a million views so quickly—proves that our hard work has truly paid off.”
Jmac added to this sentiment, noting how surreal the experience had felt throughout the production process. “At times, it didn’t fully register that we were creating something special; we were just focused on the work. Now that the music video is out and receiving so much love, my heart is filled with happiness.”
Clyde shared a glimpse into the group’s determination, recounting the long hours spent filming. “We filmed from 4 a.m. until 6 a.m. the next day, but it was all worth it. I’m incredibly proud of my team,” he said.
For Zéla, collaborating with BILIB has been a transformative experience. “Working in a group for the first time was a challenge, but the support we provided each other during training brought us closer together,” she expressed.
