MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Thousands of fans and frontliners flocked to the Smart Araneta
Coliseum last April 26 for the “Vax to Normal” Concert.

“Vax to Normal,” which is produced by Merlion Events Production Inc. in partnership with Red Cross Philippines, is a tribute concert for our nation’s frontliners who are at the forefront of the
country’s pandemic response. It is our way of recognizing the heroism of medical and non-
medical frontliners who have gone above and beyond to perform their duties amid the
pandemic.

Calista, the country’s most promising girl group, headlined the concert and performed their single, “Race Car.” Managed by Tyronne Escalante Artist Management (TEAM), Calista is composed of six multi-talented members: Olive, Laiza, Anne, Elle, Dain, and Denise. During the weeks leading up to the concert, they trained for 12 hours a day.

“From 8 AM to 8 PM. Calista trained their vocals and dance skills with their powerhouse
coaching team. They are trained by Crissie and Froilan of Douglas Nierras Power Dance, Vimi
Rivera, Manoeuvres, and Marnie Jereza,” Tyronne Escalate, Calista’s manager, shares.

Aside from Calista, the concert also featured guest performances by Yeng Constantino, Darren
Espanto, Andrea Brillantes, Elmo Magalona, AC Bonifacio, and Ken San Jose. Together, these
industry idols energized the audience with their powerful and iconic performances.

Many frontliners expressed their appreciation for the tribute concert. They hope that the country
continues to heal and encourage everyone to get themselves vaccinated so that we can achieve herd immunity and pre-pandemic normalcy.

“We are eternally grateful for our heroes, our frontliners-both medical and non-medical-who have sacrificed and risked so much to help save the country amid this pandemic. Now, we can attend concerts such as this, meet our friends and families again, travel, and much more. None of this would have been possible if not for our courageous frontliners,” Merlion Events
Production Inc. CEO Atty. Javier Flores emphasized.

Directed by Nico Faustino and Musical Director Soc Mina, “Vax to Normal” will be telecast in
TV5 on May 1, 2022, 9 PM. As for the future of Calista, Escalante shares that everyone will
tuned for updates on their social media channels Facebook (Calista PH), have to stay Instagram (@calistamusicofficial), Twitter (@calistasocials), TikTok (@calistamusicofficial), and YouTube (Calista PH); or visit their website at calistasocials.com.

“Thank you so much for all the support from
our fans, friends, coaches, and of course, our families. Without their kind words and encouragement, we would not be here at Smart Coliseum, performing and paying tribute challenge to our frontliners. We also appreciate the kind remarks from P-pop fans who continue to and keep us motivated to push forward and do better, Calista’s leader Anne shared.
