Earlier today, the ever-feisty Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago announced in a press briefing at the Senate that she is currently battling a stage 4 lung cancer.
“I’m not afraid of cancer. There is nothing I am afraid of,” she says.
In the past months, there has been a strong clamour especially from netizens urging the senator to run for presidency in the 2016 elections.
