Sing Galing returns with bigger cast, grander showdown

Belting out tunes, whether you’re a pro or just having fun, is a huge part of Filipino culture, and it’s what makes shows like Sing Galing so popular.
After a two-year hiatus, Sing Galing, the beloved videoke competition that has become a cultural touchstone, is back on TV5, promising a “Sobrang Grand” revival. The show, celebrating Filipino musical talent and infectious joy, unveiled its star-studded cast at a lively “Media Videoke-Con” held at Rockstar KTV in Greenhills on February 17. The message was clear: Sing Galing is ready to reclaim its place as a Saturday night staple.
The Maestros of Melody: The Singmasters and Jukebosses
Returning to guide the enthusiastic contestants are the original Singmasters, a trio synonymous with the show’s spirit: Randy Santiago, known as Mr. Private Eyes, the ever-energetic K Brosas, and the powerfully voiced Donita Nose. They’ll be joined by familiar faces, the Jukebosses who have made a mark on the Philippine music scene: Ariel Rivera, the Chief Sing-patiko; Allan K, the original Sing Galing host; Jessa Zaragoza, the Phenomenal Diva; Ethel Booba, the hilariously sharp-witted Champion Diva; and Rey Valera, the OPM Legend and Head Jukeboss.
This season welcomes four fresh voices to the Jukeboss panel, each bringing their unique expertise: Soul Icon Ella May Saison, Asia’s Diamond Soul Siren Nina, Vocal Powerhouse Mitoy Yonting, and multi-awarded songwriter and hitmaker Vehnee Saturno. Their combined experience and passion promise to elevate the competition and inspire the hopefuls vying for the title of Ultimate Bida-Oke Star.
Reaching a New Generation: Singtokers and Online Companions
Sing Galing is broadening its reach to connect with younger audiences by introducing Singtokers: social media sensations Queenay, Gab Pascual, Ari G, and Yanyan De Jesus. Adding another layer of excitement is the return of Marimar, the show’s very first grand champion. She will co-host NOW ZENDING, the online companion show, alongside the vibrant Zendee. This digital platform will offer fans exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses, interactive content, and special features, bringing them closer to the heart of the competition.
