Sparkle GMA Artist Center has recently established collaborative relationships with Republic Asia Media Incorporated and iAcademy. This development, as reported by Aubrey Carampel on “24 Oras” last Friday, signifies a commitment to further the skills and opportunities of Sparkle artists and Status by Sparkle content creators.

Focus on Skill Enhancement and Growth

A key component of these new partnerships involves the provision of specialized workshops and educational scholarships for the talents under the Sparkle GMA Artist Center banner, as well as their digital content creators. The signing of the formal agreement saw the presence of significant figures from all involved parties, including GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, a prominent voice for digital advancement and artificial intelligence in the Philippines, Bran Reluao, and iAcademy President and COO Raquel Perez-Wong.

Empowering Digital Presence

Atty. Gozon-Valdes explained that the aim of this collaboration is to equip their artists and Status influencers with valuable knowledge regarding effective social media strategies, responsible social media management, and methods to generate income from their online presence.

Bran Reluao voiced his hopes that the training provided through these workshops would empower the artists and content creators to exert influence that contributes positively to society.

Raquel Perez-Wong conveyed iAcademy’s dedication to this joint effort, stating their alignment with Republic Asia and Sparkle GMA in elevating professional standards and utilizing available resources to enhance abilities. She further emphasized the goal of applying these resources for progress and ensuring their use promotes positive and beneficial change.

An informative workshop was also conducted, featuring insights from Status content creator Lottie Bie, who shared her personal journey in the field of content creation. Additionally, leading professionals from various sectors of the digital media industry delivered talks during the event.

Sparkle artists such as Cheska Fausto and Lauren King, among others, were in attendance at the workshop. The sessions covered important topics including social media strategies, the applications of artificial intelligence, and methods for content monetization.

Cheska Fausto noted the numerous advantages that can be gained, specifically mentioning that artificial intelligence can be a source of ideas for content creation.

Lauren King highlighted the importance of relatability with their audience, explaining that people follow them because they find something they can connect with, making it crucial for them to be relatable so that viewers can see a part of themselves reflected in their content.
