As conversations around wellness grow louder, many Gen Zs and millennials are redefining what it means to live well. From mindful eating to movement-focused routines, healthier lifestyle choices are becoming a shared culture more than just personal goals. In response to this shift, events that combine fitness, community, and positive energy are gaining momentum across urban spaces.
Sparkle GMA Artist Center is riding this wellness wave as it proudly launches Sparkle Run 2026, a celebration of fitness, fandom, and feel-good living set to take over Manila’s historic streets on May 30, 2026. Starting at the iconic Quirino Grandstand, the inaugural event will gather up to 8,000 participants—from beginners to seasoned runners—for a day of movement, connection, and Kapuso pride, complete with energizing runs, live entertainment, and interactive fan moments.
Spearheaded by Sparkle in close partnership with the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Arts of Manila (DTCAM) as venue collaborator, and organized by RUNRIO Inc., Sparkle Run 2026 turns Manila’s landmarks into an active urban playground. Participants will traverse routes that showcase the city’s heritage while enjoying fitness activities, stage performances, and surprise appearances from well-loved Sparkle artists. More than a race, the event champions self-care, kindness, and a stronger sense of community.
The run features five race categories designed to suit different fitness levels and group experiences:
• 16K (₱1,800) – For endurance runners looking for a challenging distance.
• 10K (₱1,400) – Ideal for intermediate runners building strength and stamina. Presented by IAM Worldwide.
• 6.6K (₱1,200) – A fun and unique distance for those seeking a spirited twist. Presented by Shopee.
• 5K Breezkada (₱4,320 for 4 pax) – A relaxed group category perfect for friends or families running together. Presented by Breeze.
• 3K (₱1,000) – A beginner-friendly option for first-timers and casual participants. Presented by Luxe Skin.
Registration is now open via RaceRoster at https://raceroster.com/events/2026/115775/sparkle-run-2026, as well as through the official QR code. Participants will receive premium race kits that include custom singlets, finisher medals, loot bags filled with partner goodies, and access to post-run celebrations. Sparkle fans can also enjoy a ₱100 discount by using the code CLICKKINDNESS—but slots are limited.
