StyLIZed Studio Shares Clarification on the Issue of Maine Mendoza’s ‘Recycled’ Dress
Negative comments on fashionpulis.com poured in after a blog post indicating Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub was made to wear a recycled dress by her stylist yesterday at Eat Bulaga’s Sa Tamang Panahon event. A photo showing the same dress being worn by Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu was posted beside Maine’s. The dress drew attention as Maine was the main attraction in the grand event together with her loveteam partner, Alden Richards. We all know that showbusiness is an industry where repeating an outfit by a celebrity is frowned upon.

After getting flak for the said allegation, StyLIZed Studio of Liz Uy indirectly addressed the issue by reposting designer Francis Libiran‘s statement:
We are so glad, honored and grateful that Maine Mendoza and her official stylists, Stylized Studio, Inc., chose a beautiful Francis Libiran dress from our Spring/Summer 2015 Collection. Maine Mendoza’s gown at Eat Bulaga’s Tamang Panahon concert for a cause was bought and paid for by Eat Bulaga Production. Kim Chiu wore this gown at the Metrowear Icon Francis Libiran fashion show as a model. This gown has not been worn at any other event by any other celebrity.
