TV5 is turning up the volume for the second half of 2026, rolling out a wider mix of entertainment, news, public-service programs, music, game shows, and talent-driven projects as the Kapatid Network seeks to reach more Filipino viewers across television and digital platforms.

At the center of the network’s upcoming lineup is the highly anticipated reunion of Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal, who will headline the new morning series Mommy Guard.

The pair’s return to the small screen together gives TV5 a major attraction for its expanded programming slate, which builds on the momentum of several programs already drawing audiences across multiple platforms.

Among them is A Secret in Prague, the primetime series led by Andrea Brillantes and Enrique Gil. Combining action, romance, and drama, the series follows Chiara as she embarks on a journey of discovery that brings her closer to a life-changing secret.
With the show now reaching viewers through both TV5 and ABS-CBN platforms, its audience base has expanded beyond its original television reach.

Afternoons, meanwhile, remain a strong part of TV5’s programming push with My Bespren Emman, starring Shaina Magdayao and JM de Guzman. The series has connected with viewers through stories centered on friendship, family, resilience, and second chances.
The program is part of TV5’s Hapon Champion lineup and is likewise available to Kapamilya viewers, giving it a wider multiplatform presence.

TV5 is also expanding the reach of veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez. Her public-service program Face to Face with Ate Koring is gaining a wider audience through its expanded availability on ABS-CBN platforms, while Rated Korina is also set to join the Kapatid Network’s programming lineup.
These additions complement TV5’s growing roster of programs connected to the ABS-CBN partnership, including primetime offerings such as Sigabo and Someone, Someday, as well as game shows Everybody Sing and Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.
For TV5 President and CEO Guido R. Zaballero, the network’s expansion is ultimately about making Filipino stories accessible to audiences regardless of where they choose to watch.

“Across television, digital, or wherever audiences choose to watch, we’re committed to telling stories that inspire, entertain, inform, and connect. Our mission remains the same: to bring great Filipino stories to more Filipinos,” Zaballero said.
Investing in the next generation
TV5’s second-half programming strategy goes beyond established names and existing hits. The network is also putting greater attention on discovering and developing new talent through Star Worx: True to Life.
The new property is designed to give emerging performers a larger platform to showcase their abilities, build connections with audiences, and become part of new Filipino stories across television and digital media.

More than simply a talent competition or showcase, Star Worx: True to Life reflects TV5’s effort to develop personalities and performers who could eventually become part of its expanding portfolio of dramas, variety programs, digital productions, live events, and branded entertainment projects.
Music will likewise remain an important part of the network’s plans through the refreshed Vibe Plus, which marks another chapter as it celebrates its anniversary.
The program will continue to provide a platform for established performers while opening its doors to emerging artists, Filipino musicians, and new voices looking for opportunities to reach a broader audience.

With live performances, artist collaborations, and music-focused content designed for both television and digital platforms, the refreshed Vibe Plus also strengthens TV5’s support for Original Pilipino Music and the wider local entertainment community.
Meanwhile, Frontline sa Umaga joins Star Worx: True to Life and the revamped Vibe Plus as part of the network’s major additions for the second half of the year.
Taken together, the programming expansion reflects TV5’s effort to build a broader content mix—one that spans drama, romance, comedy, news, public service, music, game shows, and talent development.
With Mommy Guard, Frontline sa Umaga, Star Worx: True to Life, Vibe Plus, and Rated Korina joining the network’s growing roster, TV5 is positioning itself to offer Filipino audiences more programs, personalities, and ways to watch for the rest of 2026.
For the Kapatid Network, the message is clear: there is more to come.
Tara sa TV5, mga Kapatid!
