Teen Filipina Zhyra Cifra Wears Miss Bulgaria’s Gown to Prom
Right after the Miss Universe competitions in the Philippines back in January, Miss Bulgaria’s Violina Ancheva surprised her fans when she decided to give away the Sherri Hill blue gown she wore during the pageant. She wrote on her Facebook page, “I want to give the dress to a girl in need that can’t buy a dress for her prom the next month. Please write to me a personal message for details. I am leaving soon, so please hurry up.”
Single mom Isay Gallano reached out to the beauty queen and requested if the gown can be passed to her daughter (Zhyra Cifra) who’s attending her prom in March. Violina then happily obliged.
Zhyra posted her prom photo on March 11, 2017 while elegantly sporting the blue gown. She wrote, “I feel so blessed because of this lucky charm gown of Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva. I will always cherish the memorable experiences and I thank God for everything. Words can’t describe how grateful I am

Violina also posted Zhyra’s photo in her social media accounts with the caption: “Today is a big day for me! It’s Zhyra’s prom – the beautiful filipina that was chosen to wear the dress I was wearing on Miss Universe pageant! I am so excited!
