Here at Random Republika, we try our best to veer away from sad or negative news. But this post has to be an exception. We believe we owe this man a tribute for being a huge part of our growing years. We were inspired by the weekly dose of his wisdom as Mang Kevin in the 90s via Home Along Da Riles. Years before that, he joined the regular Filipino household as John in John en Marsha.  His every portrayal was a representation of Juan dela Cruz – one who survives life’s difficulties with optimism and a true sense of happiness.
To Comedy King DOLPHY, THANK YOU! Your son Eric was right when he said that heaven is a happier place because you’re surely there.
