What’s one song in your playlist that brings back memories of your childhood? This one right here does it for me.

Hearing “A Whole New World,” OST from the 1992 animation film “Aladdin,” still gives me the chills up till this very day. It’s so magical, you can’t help yourself but to sing along on top of your lungs.

And its lyrics – ahhhh – still a breath of fresh air in my ears:

Shining, shimmering, splendid.

Take you wonder by wonder. Over, sideways and under. 

Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling. Through an endless diamond sky. 

Hold your breath it gets better.

I’ve come so far, I can’t go back to where I used to be. 

The original singers of the song, Broadway stars Lea Salonga and Brad Kane, recently reunited on Good Morning America TV show to perform the duet live. And I almost cried while watching it. I’ve always been a fan.
