Through New Lenses: Vision Express releases four iconic luxury eyewear brands
The start of 2025 brought with it a shift in the way Filipinos see the world, quite literally. Vision Express, a familiar name in the local optical scene, decided to greet the new year with a fresh offering: four high-profile eyewear brands, each with a distinct personality, ready to adorn faces across the archipelago. The arrival of Tag Heuer, Miu Miu, Off-White, and Palm Angels’ Fall-Winter 2024 collections signaled more than just a retail update; it was a move to connect local style with global trends.

Precision and Playfulness: A Spectrum of Style
Tag Heuer, a name usually associated with timekeeping, brought its spirit of precision to eyewear. These frames were built for motion, designed with a focus on fit and function, a nod to those who live active lives. The brand’s emphasis on technical details and clean lines made it a choice for those seeking performance alongside style.
Miu Miu, on the other hand, offered a different experience. Born from the design house of Prada, it carried a sense of playful sophistication. These frames, bold and feminine, were crafted to make a statement, to add a touch of drama to everyday looks. They spoke to a desire for something that felt both current and classic.
Then came Off-White, a creation of the late Virgil Abloh, a force in the world of fashion. This brand brought a street-level aesthetic to luxury eyewear. Its frames were a blend of urban edge and high-end materials, a fusion of two worlds. The designs were striking, meant to be noticed, reflecting a culture that valued individuality.
Palm Angels, with its roots in the skate culture of Southern California, offered a more laid-back approach. These frames, polished yet casual, were designed for everyday wear. They projected an easy confidence, a sense of cool that felt effortless.
“Each of these brands brings a unique perspective to eyewear and here at Vision Express, we are proud to offer such a diverse range of styles to our customers. The arrival of these brands continues to solidify our commitment to providing an unparalleled customer experience,” said Vision Express Managing Director Neelam Gopwani, highlighting the company’s intention to provide variety.

New Doors, New Eyes: Expanding the Vision
The introduction of these brands was accompanied by the opening of a new Vision Express location in GH Mall, San Juan City. This was a space designed to showcase the new collections, alongside other established brands like Dior, Cartier, and Ray-Ban.
But Vision Express was not just about selling frames. They also focused on sight. The new GH Mall location, like other Vision Express locations, offered advanced eye care services. The Vision Bot+, an AI-driven system, provided quick and accurate eye exams, aiming to set a new standard in eye care. This combination of fashion and function, of style and service, was what Vision Express hoped to provide.
The opening of the new store and the introduction of new brands was a moment that spoke to the changing landscape of style and service in the Philippines. Vision Express aimed to provide a space where customers could find not only the latest trends, but also the highest level of care for their sight.
