Under the theme “Crafting Dreams, Creating New Cinema for Filipinos,” the contest attracted over 150 entries, striving to highlight fresh, inspiring narratives in the industry.

The contest called for submissions starting in April, inviting all Filipino professional and non-professional writers to submit stories that reflect the life and culture of Filipinos across any genre, including comedy, drama, suspense, and horror.
Prizes will be awarded during a special ceremony at Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan:
• 1st Prize: PHP 100,000
• 2nd Prize: PHP 50,000
• 3rd Prize: PHP 30,000
• 10 Consolation Prizes: PHP 10,000 each
The top 3 winners of the Blvck Scriptwriting Contest will have their scripts produced by Blvck Films and Blvck Entertainment.
