In celebration of their third anniversary as a couple, It’s Showtime host and comedian Vice Ganda and his boyfriend Ion Perez revealed the details of a commitment ceremony they had in Las Vegas, Nevada last year. The revelation was made through Vice Ganda’s Youtube channel with the latest video titled “What Really Happened in Las Vegas.” Based on the certificate they showed, the ceremony was held on October 19, 2021.
According to brides.com, a commitment ceremony is similar to a wedding except that the former is not legally binding. During the ceremony, the two people involved declare their love for each other and recite their vows. For their celebration, Vice and Ion did express their feelings through heartwarming vows to each other.
“Andito talaga ako. Buong-buo ang loob ko na makasama ka. Wala akong masabi basta mahal na mahal kita, Tuy. I love you,” Ion said in a short-but-sweet speech. Vice smilingly responded by saying, “I love you. He also added that he will take care and love himself more so that he can love Ion and their loved ones. Vice vowed to be a better and kinder person. They ended their exchange by saying “I love you” to each other again.
Following the exchange of commitment rings was a tender kiss from Ion on Vice’s forehead.
