Vice Ganda’s crowd-favorite game show Everybody Sing handed out a life-changing P1 million prize to a community group from Calumpit, Bulacan after they dominated the jackpot round in Sunday night’s episode.
Known as Songbayanan, the group completed the challenge by correctly identifying all 10 songs before time ran out. Their winning answer came in the final seconds when member Leslie guessed “Pangarap Lang” by Yeng Constantino.
During the episode, host Vice Ganda said the massive cash prize could provide much-needed support to the group’s community, which has long struggled with repeated flooding.
The winnings did not stop there. Songbayanan also earned an extra P60,000 in the “Singko Blanko” segment together with actress Bela Padilla after successfully filling in lyrics from the hit song “Pare Ko.”
Adding more entertainment to the pilot weekend were co-hosts Petite and Iyah Mina, while “Your Face Sounds Familiar” Season 4 champions JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano joined the group for a special musical performance.
