7 million subscribers and counting!

Just as Viva has firmly established itself as an institution that has played a crucial role in building the country’s entertainment industry to its present state, it is also pioneering a path into the future with its venture into the streaming business. VIVAMAX, the video platform launched in 2021, has now amassed 7 million subscribers, solidifying its position as the indisputable number one local OTT service in the Philippines.

The journey to 7 million subscribers has been nothing short of phenomenal. It took a mere eight months from its launch in February 2021 to reach the 1 million subscriber milestone in October. By January 2022, Vivamax had doubled its subscriber base to two million. By the end of 2022, it had grown to an impressive 5 million subscribers. Finally, in May 2023, Vivamax proudly surpassed the 7 million mark.

The numbers continue to soar. Currently, Vivamax boasts a library of 408 titles, with a new release every week. Moreover, it is now accessible in over 100 countries and territories, spanning Asia, the Middle East, North America, Europe, Oceania, China, Africa, and Central/South America. This expansion has further cemented Vivamax’s reputation as the go-to platform for captivating content catered to mature audiences.

In February, Viva proudly introduced VIVA ONE, a platform that offers wholesome content catering to families and the general audience. Within just three months, it has already amassed 500,000 subscribers. Excitingly, VIVA ONE will soon have its standalone app, making it easier to download and subscribe. With two individual streaming apps, VIVAMAX and VIVA ONE, Viva further solidifies its position in the local video streaming industry.
