“She is back. She is Vice Ganda,” announced Star Pop last Tuesday. The music label has confirmed the release of multi-hyphenate and unkabogable TV host Vice Ganda’s comeback single Rampa. In Filipino, “rampa” means to strut confidently, often used as a term in modeling or pageantry.

The single will be available on various music streaming platforms starting from May 1, 2023.

Although Vice Ganda is well-known for being one of the main hosts of “It’s Showtime” and starring in box-office hits, the artist has also recorded several successful songs such as “Karakaraka,” “Boom Panes,” and “Push Mo Yan Teh!”

Vice Ganda’s last single “Look at Me Now” was released in May of the previous year. Prior to the announcement of “Rampa,” the artist had just completed the VGful Concert Tour in the United States and Canada. Another concert, “Your Memejesty: Queen VG,” will be hosted on June 2 at the Big Dome as part of Vice Ganda’s comeback.
