Just a week ago, Random Republika featured One Direction’s Singapore tour. Now, we can just imagine how many teenagers who have long been looking forward to this coming weekend are heartbroken. It’s all over social media and the news — heartthrob Zayn Malik of One Direction won’t be joining the band in their concerts in the Philippines and Indonesia. Zayn quit the band’s On The Road Tour and went back to the UK after their Thailand leg. This decision was reportedly triggered by stress due to cheating rumors. According to a report from the Daily Mail UK, Zayn was so affected from all the hatred and accusations he’s been receiving when photos of him and a blonde in Thailand surfaced. It is known to the public that the 1D star is in a relationship with Perrie Edwards. In fact, the controversial singer, posted this tweet:
Here in the Philippines, home to so many diehard 1D fans, the issue already made it to the top trending list. Some fans are understanding while others are utterly disappointed and demanding for the star’s presence based on the hashtags.
The One Direction On The Road concert is happening tomorrow, March 21, at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
