MEET: Janina, Lianne, Jesse, and Christian of GMA’s youth-oriented ‘KAIBIGAN’ The Series
Mirroring the lives of today’s Gen Z in the New Normal, youth-oriented show Kaibigan The Series is set to air on GMA Network. Produced by local production company Perkinspiredflix, it will be shown on TV every Saturday morning, starting December 5, 2020 at 8:45am.
Starring Jesse Perkins, Christian Perkins, Lianne Valentin and Janina Vela, Kaibigan The Series will tackle the lives of four friends amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
The series will go through different themes of adolescence i.e. anxiety, productivity, depression, maintaining peace in relationships, navigating family problems, love, honesty and faith.
Perkinspiredflix CEO Tarny Perkins emphasized on the hope of the Kaibigan The Series for the Filipino youth. “The new normal, the result of COVID-19 is forcing us to face tough problems for the first time. Kaibigan brings hope andlove through friendship, to help youth and families who are struggling throughthese changes brought about by the pandemic.”
