What was supposed to be an endorsement renewal felt like a celebration of trust, loyalty, and a relationship that has grown far beyond business.

On March 11 at Okada Manila, Zeinab Harake renewed partnership with Luxe Slim, with CEO Anna Magkawas by her side. But what stood out most during the intimate contract signing was the genuine affection between the two women, whose connection now extends into family. Anna, after all, is not just her CEO. She is now her Ninang.

When Zeinab began speaking about her journey with the brand, it was clear how deeply personal the partnership has become. She shared how Luxe Slim played a role in shaping her confidence, especially as someone who openly talked about her past struggles with body image.

“Siguro mas lalo kasing na-build ni Luxe Slim ‘yung confidence ko especially sa mga nakakaalam before chubby talaga ako and nung nag-start ako uminom ng Luxe Slim kita niyo naman na-maintain ko yung body ko and especially yung pagiging OMAD (One Meal A Day) ko for three years now. And sobrang thankful ako sa Luxe Slim family especially with Ma’am Anna kasi grabe fourth time na ‘to,” Zeinab said.

At that moment, Anna gently interrupted, correcting her with a smile, reminding her to say “Ninang,” a small but meaningful detail that reflected how their relationship has evolved. Zeinab didn’t hesitate to embrace it and explained that it still takes some getting used to.

“Thankful lang ako kay Ninang Anna kasi kahit na anong dumating na issue sa buhay ko hindi niya ako iniwan. Talagang nag-stand siya for me. Lagi siyang nandoon to support and alam din naman niya na hindi ko kaya nang walang Luxe Slim. Pero kidding aside, I love Ma’am Anna. I love the Luxe Slim family, the distributors. Sa lahat ng sumusuporta at naniniwala sa pagsasabi ko na kung gusto niyo ng ganitong katawan, alam niyo na. Arat na sa Luxe Slim!,” the brand ambassador happily said.

The warmth between them was echoed in Anna’s own words — equal parts pride, admiration, and sincerity. Despite having many choices when it comes to brand ambassadors, her decision to continuously renew Zeinab over the years has always been intentional.

Anna said, “First of all, hindi dahil inaanak kita kaya kita nirenew. Sobrang grateful ako because again palagi kong sinasabi sa’yo ‘to na talagang proud ako sa’yo from the start, from the moment na nag-start ka with us with Luxe Slim in 2021 and now it’s 2026. Ilang years ka na sa Luxe and nakita ko yung improvement mo, yung growth mo, yung maturity mo as a person.” She emphasized that the transformation was something she really admired about Zeinab. “‘Yun ‘yung mas hinangaan ko sa’yo. Hindi ka nag-stick sa kung ano ka before pinili mong mag-grow as a whole, as a person. And of course, ‘yun din naman ang isa sa mga pinaglalaban ni Luxe din, lead with confidence. I’m happy na wala kang ibang tinatanggap kundi kami lang. So doon pa lang sobrang grateful na ako,” Anna added.

She then shared a story that drew smiles from everyone in the room, one that revealed Zeinab’s quiet humility despite her influence.
“And grabe siya kasi kahit pwede naman siyang humingi, ’di ba? Pwede naman siyang bumigay ng product mag-message siya na wala na siyang Luxe Slim. Nagugulat kami. Merong nagpapa-approve ng TIN sa SM Masinag, staff daw siya ni Zeinab. Nagpapabili talaga siya. Hala, nakakahiya naman kay Zeinab. Bumibili talaga siya online, sa kiosks. Doon naman mas lalo ‘yung paghanga ko sa kanya.”
What Luxe Slim and Zeinab share today is a story of consistency, shared growth, and standing by each other through both personal and public challenges.
And as the contract was signed once again, it was clear, this renewal was about continuing a relationship that has already proven its staying power.
