Mikoy Morales remains a Kapuso after almost a decade, renews ties with GMA Artist Center
Bubble Gang mainstay Mikoy Morales began his journey as a GMA artist nine years ago. He was launched through the talent search Protégé.
Mikoy has been with his home network for almost a decade and he just strengthened the bond by renewing ties with GMA Artist Center.
Mikoy looked back and recalled where and how everything started.
On Instagram, he shared, “9 years ago, 2nd year ako sa UST arki, may nagmessage na kailangan daw ako ma-interview for a callback -pupuntahan daw ako sa bahay sa araw na yun mismo. Bilang 5 hours of physics yung next subject, nag-cut ako at umuwi. ‘Yung ‘interview’ pala ay setup para tawagan ako ni ate Jolens at sabihing nakapasok ako sa Protégé. Yun na.”
The singer-songwriter-comedian-entrepreneur expressed his gratitude to GMA Network for the trust and confidence the company has given him.
Mikoy added, “It’s been almost a decade, @gmanetwork. It hasn’t been easy. I haven’t been easy and yet, natatawagan mo pa rin ako para sabihing nakapasok ako.”
“Salamat sa tiwala. It’s never just work with you, it’s personal – always has been. Kapuso all the way. #ProudToBeKapusoMikoyMorales,” he ended.
