Oatside, the beloved plant-based milk sensation, transformed Bonifacio High Street into a vibrant hub of flavor and fun with their recent Oatside Pocket Festival. This weekend event celebrated the launch of the brand’s convenient new Pocket Pack series, offering the perfect on-the-go portions of their popular Original, Chocolate, and all-new Coffee oat milk flavors.

The festival grounds buzzed with excitement as social media stars graced the event. Sam YG, a master of the mic, kept the energy high as he hosted the festivities, while David Guison, Dani Barretto, and the ever-hilarious Nico Bolzico added to the positive energy of the crowd.

“Today, we are present in more than 15 countries in Asia,” Benedict Lim, CEO of Oatside, shared. “We started in the Philippines in 2022 with Oatside’s 1L range and we have had great reception from cafe partners and consumers across the country.”

When asked for a rationale behind the new products, he replied, “We realized that people were drinking the milk straight [from the pack], not just with coffee. It’s very difficult to bring one liter with you. We launched the pocket packs, we started in Indonesia and realized that people loved it. Also, it makes it easier to drink the flavor variants. Having a small pack is much easier.”

The Pocket Packs truly stole the show, with festival-goers flocking to tasting booths and engaging in lively games. Nico Bolzico, a self-proclaimed fan, declared, “It’s the new one [coffee]. I just tried today. Definitely, that would be my flavor of choice.” He even shared that his wife, Solenn Heussaff, and daughter, Tili, are Oatside lovers too. “Tili drinks the original. I put it in her baon. Solenn uses it for her latte. She’s a latte lover.”

When asked about the crowd’s favorite flavor, Benedict Lim revealed, “They are all pretty even but coffee is the one that leads a little bit. Our new latte flavor is one of the top sellers.”

With its delicious new offerings, the contagious energy of the festival, and the endorsement of popular influencers, Oatside has cemented its position as a true crowd-pleaser. The brand’s commitment to providing flavorful and accessible plant-based options has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of Filipinos, making the Oatside Pocket Festival a resounding triumph.
