Gold Aceron gets chance to glitter; gives thanks to O/C Records
“May cumontact sakin para sa isang music video. Music video for Ligaya, kasama ko dito si Lyca Gairanod. Ang nag-produce po nito sina Kuya Kean [at] Ate Chynna,” rising movie actor Gold Aceron shared how he became an O/C Records artist. “Nakita po ako ni Kuya Kean doon. Napanood niya po lahat.” The music video director Chris Cazin, according to Gold, vouched for him and gave good feedback to his current manager Kean Cipriano, co-founder of O/C Records.
From that conversation, when he was offered to join the company as a talent, Gold immediately gave it a go. “Siyempre po, Kean Cipriano po ‘yun. Calla Lily, dati kong idol talaga mga kanta niya,” he added.
Aside from opportunities and offers, Gold is also enjoying freedom as an artist with his home agency. He told Random Republika that what he has to say is valued by his managers, especially now that he’s being geared toward daring roles.
“Pagdating sa pag-decide sa projects lagi naman po nila akong cinoconsult, kung okay ako sa project na’to. May gusto raw ba akong ipatanggal. Guided naman po nila ako palagi. Lagi po nila akong tinatanong kung okay ba ako,” Gold shared.
“Lagi kong nararamdaman na lucky boy ako,” the grateful actor said about O/C Records. “Napakablessing sa ‘kin ng O/C Records. Daming projects. Gina-guide talaga nila ako. Ang babait talaga nila sa’kin. Sobrang feel ko sila.”
Currently, Gold stars in the iconic “Peque Gallaga’s Scorpio Nights 3” that started streaming on Vivamax last July 29. “Overwhelmed ako,” he described his reaction when he was chosen to play the leading man of Christine Bermas. Gold proceeded to share that he worked out and mentally prepared for the project.
Gold has exciting projects to watch out for — Vivamax series “Secrets of a Nympho” and a May-December love story in a MacArthur Alejandre movie coming this October.
