“Ako po’y madamdamin, naiiyak po ako. Huli ko pong naramdaman ito noong mapanood ko ang aking pelikula sa Robinsons Galleria. Hindi po ako makapaniwala na ‘yung pelikula ko napapanood sa big screen,” filmmaker Ron Sapinoso turned emotional and shared what it feels like to be creating another film. He said this during the story conference of his upcoming film “Ang Babaeng Ayaw Mamatay,” set to be topbilled by actress Ara Mina. Sapinoso explained that he was born with cerebral palsy and has been unable to walk due to his condition since 2013.

Despite the challenges, Sapinoso and his team are set to begin working on this upcoming historical project this January. The story is set at a time during the Japanese colonization of the Philippines and will progress until the present time. There will be a mysterious love angle in the story despite being categorized in the action genre.
Mohaira Sanama and Julian Roxas
Ara Mina, Simon Ibarra, Victor Silayan, Deborah Sun, and Janna Dee gathered for the story conference of the film held at Brentwood Suites in Quezon City last December 17. The event was also attended by members of the production staff and received support from friends in the film and television industry. Jackie Lou Blanco was not present during the storycon but she is part of the film.
The entire cast, including Diego Salvador, Julian Roxas, Mohaira, Dana Varona, Geraldine Aleria, and Reorey Carpio, was also present at the conference. Executive producer Ryan M. Favis expressed his joy as the story conference turned out to be a success. He particularly appreciated the cast’s enthusiastic reception of the script, emphasizing the uniqueness of the story.
Acting workshops are in progress to ensure the quality of the performances.
