Content creator attributes ‘Awakening’ to celebrity crush; ALfred Vargas reacts
A video of a TikTok content creator @mccartneycale sharing his story of “awakening” went viral. In the said video, he shared how Quezon City Councilor Alfred Vargas played a role in his confirmation of his sexual preference, detailing how an underwear billboard featuring Vargas gave him the kilig feels.
The video reached the QC councilor who gave his initial reaction. He said, “Siyempre nagulat ako bigla na lang may mga naforward sakin ng link ng TikTok na ito. Pinanood ko yung buong video at napangiti ako at natuwa ako kasi meron pala akong ganung positive effect sa kanya. Happy ako kasi naging bahagi pala ako sa “awakening” journey ng isang tao.” He went on to say that the content creator has the makings of a model and actor based on his looks.
“In fairness, parang model-looking siya na may pagka artistahin? So mataas pala ang standards niya sa looks ah? Pumasa ang WALKER Underwear Billboard ko (more than ten years ago) sa taste niya wow ah! Hahahahaha! Seriously, i’m happy for Mccartney,” Vargas continued. “I hope maging inspiration din siya sa iba na still finding courage and support sa identity nila because whoever you are, kahit sino ka pa, you are someone to be loved, someone who can dream and reach your dreams, someone to be respected, and someone who can have the same opportunities in life just like everybody else.”
Vargas asserted that this kind of awakening similar to mccartney’s is an important part of self-love. “We can only truly love ourselves and others if we truly love who we really are. Thanks for this, Mccartney. Nakakuha ka ba ng WALKER coffee table book ko dati? If not, try ko maghanap and bigay ko sayo personally signed copy,” Vargas promised.
