Alfred Vargas savors the opportunity to work with PH showbiz icons
In an Instagram post, Quezon City Councilor Alfred Vargas shared his elation over the opportunity to work alongside three of the country’s best actresses – Gina Alajar, Jaclyn Jose, and Nora Aunor.
In his caption, Vargas said, “This might be one of the most iconic photos that I’ll ever be a part of.” He raved about being seated beside the three power women. Vargas, Alajar, Jose, and Aunor are co-stars in an upcoming movie titled PIETA. It is directed by Adolf Alix, Jr.
Vargas said, the opportunity is his “life’s honor.” He continued, “Pangarap ito ng bawat artistang Pilipino. Pangarap ko ito kahit ako ay baguhan pa lamang noon. Natupad na ngayon! Thank you, Lord! 🙏🏽”
Vargas also included in his post an expression of gratitude and joy. He also tagged the official accounts of the showbiz icons. He ended, “I just feel so happy & blessed to be a part of the #PIETAmovie —a film that brings together National Artist & Superstar Nora Aunor @noravillamayor67 & our multiple best actress awardees in both local and international cinema, Ms. @ginalajar & Ms. @jaclynjose.”
PIETA has yet to announce the details of its showing but the production is now down to just a few days of filming. Watch out for its release soon.
