CEO Rhea Tan to Binibining Pilipinas candidates: ‘When you get that crown, wear it with confidence but with humility’
This year, Rhea Anicoche-Tan, the CEO and President of Beautéderm, teamed up with the long-standing national beauty pageant, Binibining Pilipinas, to further her advocacy of guiding young Filipinas in entrepreneurship and self-care.
For the accomplished business magnate, success requires more than just a pretty face. “As the woman behind an empire, I hope this partnership will inspire and empower Filipinas across the country to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, regardless of the career path they choose,” she shared.
Anicoche-Tan added, “The Binibining Pilipinas organization has been assisting women for many years. This year, I want to contribute to the movement by offering success tips. These young women can find inspiration and learn from my own business journey. I am willing to share my experiences and provide guidance.”
Earlier this month, on May 8, the Binibining Pilipinas candidates visited the Beautéderm headquarters to meet the skincare executive. During the event, Anicoche-Tan announced that the winner of the Ms. Beautéderm title would receive P500,000 worth of Beautéderm products to start their business, along with P100,000 in cash on coronation night.
“For the Ms. Beautéderm title, we are looking for a proud Filipina who is confident, aspirational, beautiful inside and out, and has a heart for others. We are excited to crown the Ms. Beautéderm during the coronation,” she enthusiastically expressed.
During the candidates’ visit to the Beautéderm headquarters, Anicoche-Tan personally shared some success tips with the ladies. She said, “Success is about being humble and true to yourself. When you receive that crown, wear it with confidence but remain humble. Remember the people who support you. And two of the most important things are—always be grateful and honor your parents.”
