In the midst of a pandemic, young couple Tam and Jam embraced their entrepreneurial skills and opened an affordable minimalist Italian restaurant last November 2020 at Brgy. Palanan, Makati City.

Due to the health crisis, Chef Tam has been affected by the “No Work, No Pay” policy, which prompted the couple to take the plunge and start an online food business named “Chef’s Specials.” The small business then evolved into what it is now – the CIBO DELI restaurant.

The owners used their savings and put up the business with the love and support of their families. With loads of good reviews from their online food business and the customers’ demand for a physical establishment, Chef Tam and Jam decided to open CIBO DELI.

Backed by Chef Tam’s hotel work experience, the tagline “Where elegance meets affordability” is perfect for the place. The couple aims to make more people experience quality meals at really affordable prices.
