Who Made Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach’s Gown?
Last year, MJ Lastimosa’s Miss Universe competition gowns were all but controversial. Despite people bashing her “cheap-looking” gowns, she still proudly and confidently took all the grunts of angry pageant fanatics as she strode her way with the crown as her only goal.
The rude comments were primarily drawn towards, Ms. Stella Araneta, the country’s Binibining Pilipinas director who was blamed for choosing the gowns of MJ while favoring Colombian designers over local ones.
This year, Pia stepped up her game and wore a red gown which showed elegance and confidence.
But who made her gown?
The designer is apparently a Los Angeles-based Filipino celebrity couturier, Oliver Tolentino. Check out his IG page.
