Jeri Violago celebrates young love with debut single 'Gusto Kita'

Jeri Violago, a 23-year-old emerging artist, has recently unveiled his debut single, “Gusto Kita,” courtesy of ABS-CBN’s Tarsier Records, available on various streaming platforms. Crafted and produced by the acclaimed songwriter Vehnee Saturno, this simple yet captivating love song is making waves on popular radio stations such as WishFM 107.5, Energy 106.7, Star FM, and WinFM 91.5, resonating across Visayas and Mindanao.

To enhance the musical experience, the official music video, starring Jeri and “It’s Showtime” host Jackie Gonzaga, premiered on Jeri’s YouTube channel on November 29. Jeri, expressing his personal touch, selected Jackie as his on-screen love team partner. The song has found a home as background music for a well-known segment on “It’s Showtime.”

Eager to connect with a wider audience, Jeri has actively participated in live appearances, including a guest spot at Nonoy Zuniga’s show in San Pablo, Laguna, on November 7, and Bo Cerrudo’s 35th-anniversary concert at Teatrino on November 15. The enchanting melody of “Gusto Kita” continues to echo through radio stations across Visayas and Mindanao.

In Jeri’s words, “I want to reach out to a lot of people as much as possible. I want them to know who I am and what I have to offer.” This drive has led him to engage in live performances and plan future mall shows to connect with fans.

Reflecting on his journey, Jeri shares his excitement, saying, “I feel like this is the first step towards achieving my dream, and I’m so happy and excited.” The song, composed and produced by the seasoned Vehnee Saturno, epitomizes Jeri’s desire for a chill and cool vibe, transporting listeners to the special moments of falling in love.
