Aww! Vice Ganda reassures Kim Chiu on It’s Showtime: ‘You deserve love’
In yesterday’s episode of noontime show, It’s Showtime (December 12), the Unkabogable host Vice Ganda, took a moment to share words of encouragement and reassurance with his co-host Kim Chiu amid swirling rumors of a breakup with her boyfriend and fellow actor Xian Lim. Vice Ganda was obviously on her big sister or Ate mode during the “EXpecially For You” segment.
In the middle of the segment, which revolves around couples who have split up, we saw Vice’s love and care for Kim. During a playful banter with co-host Vhong Navarro, Vice approached Kim, teased her about her white dress, and made a statement.
While looking intently at Kim with sincerity and seriousness, Vice delivered these lines from the heart: “Maganda ka, mabuti kang tao, maganda ang mukha mo, maganda ang puso mo, you deserve the best, you deserve love.” Vice then gave Kim a tight hug, prompting the well-loved actress to whisper and motion for Vice to resume the segment.
On the same day, actor-director Xian Lim’s reported deletion of a significant portion of content from his YouTube channel, including vlogs featuring Kim, added fuel to the recurring fire that is their supposed beakup.
While the celebrity couple has yet to confirm the breakup. One thing is for sure – we all need a friend to remind us of our worth like Vice Ganda.
