In a virtual media launch, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) revealed the lineup of movie entries for the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Tuloy ang MMFF 2020. Hindi puwedeng mawala ito sa pandemya,” MMDA Chairman and MMFF Over-all Chairman Danny Lim said in his opening statement. Gen. Lim shared that the limitation due to the closing of cinemas led to the transfer to the digital platform which means a wider reach.

As MMFF goes digital, MMDA partnered with Globe Telecom and streaming app UPSTREAM to enable more Filipinos to access the movies in the comfort of their homes globally. Filipinos abroad can now take part in the annual tradition.
