Teejay Marquez and Jerome Ponce captured viewers’ hearts and gained a huge following at the height of the country’s BL (Boys’ Love) craze.
Regal Entertainment is back with another dose of LGBTQIA+ magic in their latest boys’ love series, ‘The Day I Loved You.’ The show starring fresh faces Tommy Alejandrino (Nikko), Raynold Tan (Eli), Rabin Angeles (Justin), Mika Reins (Ashley), Lorraine Wong (Karen), Lienel Navidad (Chloe), Yohance Buie (James), Kaleb Ong (Royce), Marnie Lapus (Ms. Arzadon), and Marinelle Dayego (Lucy) premiered last April 26.
Reliable “kilig” director Easy Ferrer, famous for his heartwarming projects, admits that this story is close to his heart, drawing inspiration from his own colorful journey of self-discovery. With this creative outlet, he shares his profound insights on life and the exhilarating rollercoaster of young love.
Here’s a sneak peek at the plot: Meet Eli, a troublemaker who finds himself in hot water after vandalizing school property. Little does he know that his path will intersect with Nikko, an intelligent and spirited straight-A student. These two seemingly different individuals are in for a surprise when they discover they must dance together at the school prom.
