“Oh my God! This just in. We just won again!!!!,” this was the unkabogable host and comedian Vice Ganda’s post on X (formerly known as Twitter). The It’s Showtime host is thrilled over the fact that his weekly game show on ABS-CBN, Everybody, Sing, was hailed the Best Asian Original Game Show at Content Asia Awards 2023.

The awards night was held in Bangkok, Thailand last Thursday, August 24, 2023. While he was not able to attend the awarding ceremony, Vice was quick to turn to social media to express gratitude.

On It’s Showtime this Friday, August 25, 2023, Vice gave a lengthy acknowledgment speech. He said, “Thank you very much for acknowledging, recognizing our program. Congratulations sa ABS-CBN, congratulations sa Pilipinas.”

“Kasi iba’t ibang countries ang naglaban-laban diyan tapos ang representative ng Pilipinas ay ang Everybody, Sing, tapos nanalo ang Everybody, Sing. So, nanalo ang Pilipinas,” the grateful artist added. “So, nakakatuwa naman na ang programa natin ay nakapagbigay ng karangalan sa Pilipinas, sa buong mundo, sa Asya, maraming salamat.”

Vice went on to thank the production staff, crew and everyone else involved in the show. He also expressed how difficult it is to handle the show, “Ang hirap gawin ng Everybody, Sing kasi 100 contestants yun. And ang hirap na mag-isa kang naghu-host ng isang programa na isandaan yung contestants mo, na kailangan mong estimahin. Isandaan yung kailangan mong tingnan at damahin at kilalanin at obserbahan.”

In the end, Vice repeatedly said, “Pero it’s all worth it. It’s all worth it. It’s all worth it.” He continued, “This is ABS-CBN’s way of giving public service to the Madlang People kasi sabi nga nila kahapon, nagmi-meeting kami with the management na, ‘Kailangang-kailangan ng Pilipinas ng isang programa katulad ng Everybody, Sing na patatawanin sila at bibigyan sila ng inspirasyon at tutulungan yung mga komunidad na naglalaro, yung mga tao.'”
