Viva One introduces romantic murder-mystery series ‘Deadly Love’

Get ready for Viva One’s latest captivating series, “Deadly Love,” a romantic murder-mystery that boasts an incredible lineup of talent. The promising cast includes Louise Delos Reyes, Marco Gumabao, McCoy De Leon, and award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose. Directing the series is Derick Cabrido, known for his work on gripping horror-thrillers like “Clarita” and “U Turn.”
“Deadly Love” is a six-episode series that delves into the twisted mind of a killer. The story unfolds from the perspective of their daughter, who becomes increasingly suspicious of her mother’s trustworthiness and embarks on a quest for the truth. Each episode unravels the dark reality behind the mysterious crimes that plague their lives, promising viewers an exhilarating blend of thrills and suspense.
Cabrido, in collaboration with Joaquin Enrico Santos, the writer behind Mentorque Production Inc.’s “Mallari,” conceived the concept for “Deadly Love.” They drew inspiration from the popular domestic crime genre that has captivated audiences worldwide, particularly in the United States. With this series, they hope to captivate Filipino viewers by exploring this dark and intriguing genre.
In addition to the lead cast, “Deadly Love” features the talents of Simon Ibarra, Arvic Tan, Bob JBeili, Andrew Mulach, Pamela Ortiz, and Harriette Damole. Join them as they unravel the truth in the premiere of “Deadly Love” on July 10, exclusively on Viva One.
