Gary V holds birthday concert for a cause: ‘Gary V: Back At The Museum’
OPM icon Gary Valenciano a.k.a. Gary V is all set to make a grand return to the Music Museum this August for an extraordinary birthday concert series titled “Gary V: Back At The Museum.” The series is scheduled on August 4, 12, 19, and 26, and it marks his triumphant comeback to this iconic venue where he has previously enthralled audiences with his electrifying performances.
Fans can look forward to an exhilarating showcase by this multi-talented artist, who has inspired millions with his skills as an actor, dancer, musical arranger, musician, singer, songwriter, and video producer. With his ability to connect deeply with the audience and his high-energy stage presence, Gary is sure to deliver an entertaining and meaningful show.
The decision to celebrate his 40th anniversary at Music Museum was an obvious choice for Gary’s management team at Manila Genesis Entertainment & Management, Inc., given the fond memories of his previous shows there. Not only does the venue provide an intimate setting, but it also holds a special place in Gary’s heart due to his longstanding relationship with it.
Throughout the years, Gary has graced the Music Museum stage with over 100 concerts, including iconic ones such as “Sights and Sounds Of Gary V” in 1989, “Images Of Gary V” in 1990, “A Decade Of Gary V” in 1993, “Gary V By Request,” “Gary V Hits Music Museum,” “Gary V @ 23,” “His Love,” and many more.
In this series, which commemorates the birthdays of both Gary (August 6) and his wife Angeli (August 26), there’s also a meaningful cause behind the scenes. The concerts will support the Shining Light Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical aid to underprivileged families and scholarships to deserving children. This cause aligns perfectly with Gary’s commitment to children’s rights and helping those in need.
The setlist for “Gary V: Back At The Museum” will feature his greatest hits, and he will be joined on stage by his daughter Kiana for a special guest appearance, as well as the Manoeuvres.
