Taiwan Excellence launches online singing competition in PH, teams up with Pinoy powerhouse judges
Talent. Passion. Excellence.
These are the finest qualities of the new breed of champions (1 Male, 1 Female and 1 Group winner) that the newest online singing competition is looking for! Organized by Taiwan Excellence, “Your Song of Excellence” jumpstarted the online search last July and this August continues to look for the most promising singers from all over the country. Registration is free and has been extended so that all interested singers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao may still send their entries to audition until August 10 and register for free via bit.ly/YourSongOfExcellence.
With three (3) categories for the online contest, all aspiring Male, Female or Group singers can be the grand prize winners of “Your Song of Excellence” and will have the chance to fulfill their dreams of a recording deal with a major music label and win over half a Million Peso prize pool composed of cash and gifts for the contest champions.
“We’ve been a witness to the Filipinos’ heart and global skills. We at Taiwan Excellence are all about paving the way for furthering growth and recognizing those who go beyond the standards, similar to those brands that we are in partnership with. This competition is the perfect platform for the aspiring singers to showcase their singing talent that the Filipinos are known for,” Mr. Clement Chen, Director of Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
Guided by the belief in the power and World-class quality of the Filipino singing prowess, “Your Song of Excellence” is led by an esteemed panel of celebrity judges, who are also champions in the field of the Philippine Performance Arts. First on the list is highly-respected and multi-awarded singer and theater actor Bituin Escalante, who captured the country’s heart with her poignant performance of “Kung Ako na Lang Sana.” Joining her in the panel of judges is singer and composer Jay Durias, who is best known for being the frontman of the 90s pop and R&B band South Border. Actress, power belter, and “Star In A Million” Season 2 Grand Champion Frenchie Dy and songwriter and music producer Paulo Zarate, the man behind the soundtracks of various films such as “Damaso” and “Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako”, are also part of the panel of judges.
With these prominent judges on-board for the screening process, the search for the best online champions embodying true Filipino singing excellence is on!
