The highly anticipated return of “It’s Showtime” was spearheaded by the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, and it took the Twitter trending charts by storm nationwide. The hosts were sorely missed by both Kapamilya and Kapuso viewers.

Vice Ganda was joined by a star-studded ensemble, including Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Ogie Alcasid, Amy Perez, Karylle, Ion Perez, Ryan Bang, Teddy Corpuz, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez, as they belted out the Backstreet Boys’ hit “Larger than Life.”

The hosts also expressed their gratitude to the “It’s Your Lucky Day” family for spreading joy and entertainment to the madlang people over the past 12 days. Vice hinted at surprises for the show’s 14th anniversary and “Magpasikat.”

In addition to the sensational opening performance, the show crowned Arianah Lasam as the new Mini Ms. U grand winner, achieving the highest combined score from the esteemed judges: Niño Muhlach, Janice de Belen, Gladys Reyes, Snooky Serna, and Maricel Soriano.

As the grand champion, the charming queen from Pampanga secured an exclusive management contract with Star Magic’s Polaris, P300,000 in cash, and a trip for four to Hong Kong Disneyland for three days and two nights, including airfare and accommodations.

The “Mini Ms. U” grand finals also presented special awards, such as Mini Ms. Cutieful Smile and Mini Ms. Talent, which went to Enicka, and Mini Ms. Friendship, awarded to Eury.

Among the other finalists who made it to the Top 13 were Audrei, Jewel, Alycia, Scarlet, Oliviann, Grandice, Reign, Quinn, Rain, and Briseis.

Starting this Monday (Oct. 30), viewers can catch “It’s Showtime” on weekdays at an earlier time slot, 11:30 AM, and they can look forward to the show’s new dance segment next week.
