This anthem has earned global recognition as it resonates across Call of Duty Mobile servers worldwide, showcasing the international impact of Filipino gamers in the gaming community. For gamers, the lobby music serves as the soundtrack that sets the mood before the game, and it’s surprising to discover that the anthem in Call of Duty was penned and performed by Filipina gamers.
The song features the talents of Myrtle Sarrosa, Sharlene San Pedro, Doc Z, and Patricia Reyes, collectively recognized as some of the most prominent gaming streamers in the Philippines within the mobile gaming genre.
The accompanying music video has garnered close to a million views and has been highlighted not only in the Philippines but also in Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and globally within the game. It’s a remarkable achievement that a gamer, Myrtle Sarrosa, wrote this song specifically for fellow gamers.
Diving deeper into Myrtle Sarrosa’s contributions to gaming and cosplay, besides “In The Zone,” she has also penned two other tracks for Call of Duty, namely “Ready Set” and “Better Run,” accumulating millions of views for Call of Duty Warzone 2 and Call of Duty Mobile.
