“You are not ugly, and anyone who cares to know you will see that.”
In a world full of insecurities, how do we see the real beauty of people? How can you blend in a society when you’re born to stand out?
Julia Roberts stars in a new Hollywood flick called “Wonder” opposite Owen Wilson. The movie talks about the heartwarming story of fifth-grader August Pullman, a kid born with facial deformities and who enters a mainstream school for the very first time. August’s journey will captivate the hearts of the viewers as he shares his personal and his family’s journey despite all their life struggles.
In one of her TV interviews, Julia was quoted saying: “We can always use more kindness in our lives, but I think right now is really a good time to be reminded of maybe sharpening our kindness skills.”
The film is based on the New York Times bestselling novel “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio and is directed by Stephen Chbosky (from “Perks of Being a Wallflower”).
“Wonder” will be shown in cinemas starting November 29, 2017.
