Vice Ganda gets three-peat as ‘Most Trusted Entertainment and Variety Presenter’ in Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards 2021
“Trust is earned and I worked very hard to earn the trust of the public and that is something that I treasure,” “It’s Showtime” and “Everybody, Sing!” host Vice Ganda shared as he gets another recognition for being a reliable entertainment practitioner. Vice continues to win the hearts of the ‘madlang pipol’ for spreading love, light, and joy to Filipinos.
The unkabogable host-actor received the Most Trusted Entertainment/Variety Presenter award at the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards 2021.
“Thank you very much and I really appreciate it and I am so happy that you are recognizing my job, my work, and my duty to always make the people happy. This award will always inspire me to continue making the people around the world, most especially the Filipino, happy,” Vice said as the winner of the same category for three years straight.
“Nakaka-happy at nakakakilig na nakuha ko itong award na ito for the third straight year from Reader’s Digest,” Vice continued. “Reader’s Digest is not fake news at prestigious publication ito kaya naman I’m very honored. Three-peat ko na ito this year – sunod-sunod diba? Ang saya saya ko.“
He also added, “Third ko na ito at siguro naman hindi nila ito ibibigay basta-basta kaya ang sarap sa pakiramdam. Parang Guillermo itong award na ito – very objective kasi ang metrics nila ay numbers. This award is based on facts kaya nakaka-humble at nakaka-inspire.”
The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards is based on a commissioned survey participated by thousands of Filipinos who vote for companies and personalities in terms of trustworthiness, credibility, quality, value, understanding of consumer needs, innovation, and social responsibility. It started in 1998 and continues to determine the factors that make consumers trust brands.
Vice ended the interview obviously overwhelmed with gratitude as his home network ABS-CBN also bagged the Gold Award from the same award-giving body. He said, “Kahit nabawasan reach ng network ko, kami pa din pinagkakatiwalaan ng publiko. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na hindi nagbabago ang tingin sa akin ng mga tao. My following is still loyal.“
