Vice Ganda, overwhelmed with gratitude as ‘Everbody, Sing!’ Season 2 closes
“Maraming salamat po sa pagbibigay sa amin ng tyansang makapag-share ng blessings, maka-touch ng buhay. Salamat, Lord, at ginawa mo kaming instrumento sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa mga kababayan namin,” the unkabogable host Vice Ganda said.
The “Everybody, Sing!” host expressed her thankfulness for the success of the show’s second season run during its last episode on Sunday (February 19).
She also addressed the contestants or “songbayanans” who shared their inspiring backgrounds and stories on the show.
“Salamat po sa mga contestants namin na nag-share ng istorya nila po na masasaya, pinagdaanan, karanasan, mga lungkot nila. Lord God, thank you for this wonderful chance, this program is such a beautiful gift na lagi po naming ipagpapasalamat,” she expressed.
For the finale episode, the songbayanan of exes and lovers won the P1 million jackpot prize. Although they struggled to identify the two remaining songs during the “Everybody GuesSing?” round, they successfully finished the game with 27 seconds to spare.
Aside from them, other winners that took home the P1 million jackpot prize were beauticians, bank employees, gas station attendants, and bartenders.
The Unkabogable Star, who recently renewed her contract with ABS-CBN, also made headlines for her extraordinary outfits every episode, which was tailored to the occupation or categorization of the “songbayanan.”
Meanwhile, before “Everybody, Sing!” bade goodbye on air last Sunday, it teased its return for another season.
An original concept of ABS-CBN, “Everybody, Sing!” is a unique Filipino game show that aims to underscore the importance of bayanihan and teamwork in communities especially during this pandemic.
