VIRAL: Kitchie Nadal’s Php799 Wedding Gown
When it comes to celebrity weddings, people are often curious about the bride’s wedding dress of choice. There is that unspoken judgment that it is a reflection of the bride’s personality and taste. Thus, many of our celebrity brides have sought the expertise of renowned couturiers. In fact, the recent ones have been all over social media with the brands or famous designers’ names being tagged. We can only imagine how much those dresses cost (some can possible cover all the expenses of a simple wedding!).
With that, singer-songwriter Kitchie Nadal who got married four days ago made a statement when she wore a simple wedding dress which barely cost a thousand bucks. According to Kitchie’s friend Niña Sandejas in a blog entry, the bride bought the dress at a boutique in a Makati mall for Php799. It was also added that Kitchie had it on her first try after it fit her perfectly. Truly a bold move for a celebrity! It shouldn’t be surprising for her though. As revealed by Niña, the ultimate bridechilla Kitchie (who also did her own makeup!) and her now husband Carlos Lopez are active in charitable activities. This probably influenced their decision to keep their wedding simple.
